Mrs. Manly
Second Grade
Mrs. Manly loves watching students grow and change over the year. She loves the staff and community here at LCEL.

Outside of school she loves running, spending time with family and friends and playing with Sadie.

Ms. Basha
Second Grade
Ms. Basha loves watching the growth and progress that each child makes socially, developmentally and academically. She loves the community and family atmosphere here at LCEL.

Outside of school, Ms. Basha enjoys time with family and friends, exercising and spending time outdoors.

Mrs. English
Speech

Mrs. English has been teaching 24 years and loved helping students reach their Speech goals. Outside of school she enjoys traveling, shopping, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends.

She loves working with a supportive group of educators here at LCEL.


Mrs. Knutson
Child Development
Mrs. Knutson has been teaching 20 years and loves seeing the light bulb go off with students! She loves to read and hang out at the lake outside of school. One thing she loves about LCEL is her team and students!

Mrs. K. Jackson
Kindergarten
Mrs. Jackson has been teaching for 15 years and loves watching a child's excitement when they first learn to read. She says it is like you have taught them a secret code. She loves getting to help them learn new things and see their full potential.

Outside of school, Mrs. Jackson loves to read, nap, play Tsum Tsum, search Pinterest, walk and about anything she can do with her two children. The things she loves most about LCE is the close community and how the parents work together to make sure all student's needs are met.

Mr. Lane
Art

Mr. Lane has been teaching for 26 years. He is inspired by students as they explore and problem solve. He enjoys watching students use the LIFESKILLS in the art room.

Outside of school Mr. Lane enjoys working on graphic novels, body surfing and watching birds.

Mrs. Johnson
Second Grade
Mrs. Johnson has been teaching for twenty three years. She feels that activating the children's curious minds is the most rewarding part of teaching. She also loves seeing them take the initiative to further their learning. The thing she loves most about LCEL is the amazing community!

Outside of school she enjoys being on the lake and camping with family. She also enjoys a great book and walking on the beach.


Mr. Johnson
Second Grade
Mr. Johnson has been teaching for seven years. He enjoys seeing the kids years later that still want to just say hello. He knows if they want to come back and speak that you really made an impact. He loves the community here at LCEL.

Outside of school he enjoys coaching football, cooking on the grill, enjoying time with family and friends, reading and learning new things.

Mrs. Lewis
First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Lewis has been teaching for many years. She loves seeing the children learn and grow. Her favorite thing about LCEL is her colleagues.

Mrs. Lewis enjoys reading, yard work and baking outside of school.

Mrs. Stewart
Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Stewart has been teaching for four years. She feels that the most rewarding thing about teaching is watching students grow academically over the course of the school year and being able to celebrate their personal accomplishments with them. Her favorite thing about LCEL is the community we have established.

Outside of school, Mrs. Stewart enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends and shopping.

Mrs. Richardson

First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Richardson has been teaching for 16 years. She thinks the most rewarding thing about teaching is the "light bulb moment," when students grasp a concept they have been struggling with or a new discovery. She loves when students exceed her expectations! She calls this the WOW moment.

She loves to play tennis, cuddle up with a good book and shop.

Her favorite thing about LCEL is the family environment that we have created here.

Elizabeth Peterson

First Grade Teacher

Mrs. Peterson has been teaching for three years. She loves building relationships with students and watching them grow. Her favorite thing about LCEL is the welcoming environment.

Outside of school, Mrs. Peterson enjoys traveling with family.

Cami Ludwich
Speech Therapist

Mrs. Ludwick is entering her 26th year teaching! She enjoys the relationships she is building with students and seeing the progress that they make as a result of the relationships. She feel there is nothing better than seeing a student become a functional communicator! Mrs. Ludwick enjoys spending time with her family, cycling and creating stained glass.

Her favorite thing about being at LCEL is the welcoming atmosphere and depth of caring for each student.

Susan Woodley
PreK Austism 

Mrs. Woodley is entering her 16th year teaching! She loves being able to celebrate all the little accomplishments with her students. No accomplishment is too small! Mrs. Woodley loves spending time with her family and running.

Her favorite thing about LCEL is that we are one big family!
